Cyndy McAtee (also known as fortemac) has been a scrapbook enthusiast since childhood. Combining her love of genealogy and photography with her collection of family memorabilia, making heritage layouts naturally became a favo rite pastime. Cyndy discovered digital scrapbooking in July of 2004. By April of 2005 she was creating her own elements and papers. In December of 2006 Cyndy was thrilled to become a creative team member of Gina Jane Johnson and later joined her as a designer at Daisie Company. As a long-time fan of Kathryn Balint’s collage-style of scrapping, Cyndy joined Kathryn’s creative team in April of 2006 and was designing for her by July. In July of 2008 Cyndy moved to Aimee Asher Elite. Cyndy also has been a music teacher at North Daviess School Corporation for over twenty-eight years. Her undergraduate college work was completed at the University of Evansville in 1978 with a Bachelor of Music Education degree. Graduate work was completed at Indiana University in 1986 with a Master of Science in Education. Her major instrument in college was the piano, and she enjoys playing Impressionist Music, especially that of Claude Debussy.
Cyndy is the mother of two daughters. Sarah McAtee is twenty-five, and she is a 2006 graduate of Indiana University where she majored in theatre. She was a member of the Indiana University Singing Hoosiers and the IU Varsity Singers. She traveled with the Singing Hoosiers to England and Wales in 2004 and has performed at the Nashville Follies, Holiday World, and Six Flags. She is currently working for Disney in Florida. Carrie McAtee is twenty-three and is a recent graduate of the Virginia Military Institute. She is an avid runner and was on the VMI Track and Cross Country teams for two years. She was a psychology major and a VMI Cheerleader for football and basketball. This summer she attended the US Marines Officers Training School and commissioned as a 2nd Lt. in the US Marine Corps.
